Article I : Name

 The Name and title of this organization shall be BATCHU FOUNDATION,hereinafter called foundation.It shall be a not for profit organization registered under the laws of state of Andhra Pradesh and exist in perpetuity.The functioning of Foundation shall be on a Indian calendar year basis.

Article II : OBJECTIVES AND PURPOSES

 Section 1 : To strengthen the public educational institutes in and around the community of Peddapuram with in the radius of ten kilometers. To raise the standards of education at elementary, secondary, higher secondary and college levels of education. To start and operate educational institutes at these levels on break even basis. To expand and equip the schools to bring them to national and international standards. To institute scholarships to needy and meritorious students, when appropriate. To recognize talented teachers .To conduct annual reading week celebrations. To organize seminars in the fields of education to promote and raise standards of education. To promote and organize exchange of students and teachers between Peddapuram and other parts of the country and other countries.

Section 2 : To strengthen the public health institutes in and around the community of Peddapuram with in the radius of ten kilometers. To raise the standards of health at primary, divisional, and district level. To start and operate health care facilities on break even basis. To expand and equip the public hospitals to bring them to national and international standards. To provide medicines and food when needed. To recognize the talented doctors and paramedical personnel. T o organize health care camps, seminars and social get together, to raise the standards of health care. To promote and organize exchange of doctors between Peddapuram and other countries.

Section 3 : To promote and strengthen the sports activities in and around the community of Peddapuram with in the radius of ten kilometers. To organize sports meets and conduct annual Batchu Gurumurthy shuttle badminton tournaments at Batchu Gurumurthy Municipal Auditorium and recognize talent.

Section 4 : To assist and promote literary, cultural, social, economic and religious activities in and around the community of Peddapuam with in the radius of ten kilometers. It is important for Foundation to actively engage in activities to bring diverse communities together on various religious and cultural activities like Pongal, Ugadi, Ramadan, Christmas and Independence day, Teachers day and Children's day and New years eve, Founder’s day and Birth day celebration of Batchu Gurumurthy.

Section 5 : To solicit, raise and disburse funds for charitable purposes directly or in cooperation with other not for profit organizations in India .USA and other countries.
